Dr. Ken Korthauer is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He attended The University of Texas at Austin and received his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch – Galveston. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of New Mexico Medical Branch. He specializes in General Orthopedics with an emphasis in knees, shoulder, hip, joint replacement, arthroscopic surgery, and sports medicine. Dr. Korthauer has gratefully served local high schools as their team physician. He has also served on numerous medical cross-cultural humanitarian missions. He more recently has served on post-Harvey recovery teams in partnership with his church.
In his off time he is an avid cyclist and enjoys travelling with his family.
