Saturday, March 22nd, Advanced Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine participated in the 16th Annual 3BQ Cook-Off & Car Show. We were proud to be there again and interact with the Bridgeland community. It was a wonderful day of food, drinks, camaraderie, community, and competition!
This event is a crowd favorite, marking its 16th year! It's a rigorous BBQ competition where teams are judged on the appearance, taste, and texture of chicken, ribs, and brisket.
This year, Dillon grilled on behalf of Advanced Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. Although he is not officially one of our team members, we were happy to have him join us. He did a great job, and we thank him for his support!
Huge gratitude to our wonderful team members who volunteered to come out and represent us and get to know the community: Krista Armstrong, Mike Fretwell, Melisa Martinez, John Rios, Alexia Wilburn, Cammi Landry, and our Practice Administrator, Joseph Mathews. Your presence meant so much and educated all who visited our booth.
We’re excited to share that Advanced Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine took home 1st place in the chicken category—a huge highlight of the day! Despite the tough competition, we are also proud of our 8th place overall finish out of 16 teams.
We had a great time reuniting with old friends and making new ones, and we are so grateful for everyone who came by to try our barbecue and learn more about what we do here at Advanced Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. We look forward to coming back next year for an even bigger and better cook-off in 2026.
